Chris Mixon

Chris is delighted to be joining the Resident Acting Company at The Pearl. A veteran of plays and musicals at regional theatres and festivals around the country, he’s performed with the Denver Center Theatre Co., Pioneer Theatre Co., Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Great River Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespeare Festival, the Hudson Valley, Orlando, and Nebraska Shakespeare Festivals, Philadelphia Theatre Co., Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, George St. Theatre, Meadow Brook Theatre, Two River Theatre Co., Mill Mt. Theatre, Northern Stage, TheatreWorks Hartford, and West Hartford’s new Playhouse-on-Park. Chris appeared last season in The Sneeze and Wittenberg at The Pearl, and the Mint Theatre’s Dr. Knock or the Triumph of Medicine, and MTC’s musical Stunt Girl for the 7@7 Series, directed by Brian Yorkey (Next to Normal). Chris toured for a year with Broadway’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, starring Ralph Macchio and Roger Bart, and his film and TV credits include “Law and Order,” “One Life to Live,” “All My Children,” and the CBS movie “The Rosa Parks Story,” opposite Angela Bassett.
