With small classes led by working actors, The Pearl Conservatory is committed to offering you the most nurturing and challenging training in the city.

Gain visibility at The Pearl!  We want to give you space to grow as an artist and get to know your work. If there is a performance component to the class, a casting associate from The Pearl will be present for the final hour.

Classes at The Pearl Conservatory
  • Courses - Pearl Resident Acting Company Members teaching 6-to-8 week long classes meeting at least once a week.
  • Workshop - Pearl Resident Acting Company Members teaching 1-to-4 day intensive sessions on particular skills.
  • Elective - Guest Artists teaching donation-based workshops in conjuction with The Pearl Conservatory.
Benefits
Students are eligible for discounted tickets to productions.

Students have access to free rehearsal space on the day of their class (space permitting).
 
Important Information
Courses are held at The Pearl Rehearsal Studio located at 307 West 38th Street Suite #1805 between 8th and 9th avenues.

Application Courses:
  • Actors must submit their headshot and resume to conservatory@pearltheatre.org with the course title in the subject line. Once the course's instructor has reviewed the application, an interview/audition may be requested..
Direct Enrollment
  • Direct enrollment requies no interview or audition. An email will contain registration and payment information once the administrative offices have confirmed your spot.
Acceptance Notification will be sent by email within 48 hours of the audition or enrollment.
 
Payment and Refunds:
  • Submit payment through PayPal's secure servers (you do NOT need a PayPal account).
  • PayPal accepts all major credit cards and online checks.
  • For Payment Plan Subscription, you MUST initiate first payment by the registration deadline. 
  • Withdrawls and refunds can be issued anytime before the class's registration deadline.
